Our only goal is to assist you in detoxifying from all
addicting drugs. If you are using marijuana or other drugs and want to
continue them, SAVE YOUR MONEY! ! ! We can't help you. |
Sobriety:
|
Detoxification is only the first small step toward sobriety, and is the
easiest. "Getting clean is easy, staying clean is hard." If
there is no commitment towards some type of rehab program, you are
wasting your time and money. The program includes 2 hours of 1:1
therapy that is focused on relapse prevention.

calls to adjust medical treatment will also be charged at a rate that is
appropriate for the amount of time spent on the call. Total accrued
charges will be more than the global fee in most instances, but there

then decide to start again, within the first 30 days, we will give you

Detoxification Visits:
|
After the initial evaluation is completed, appropriate medications will
be prescribed, and instructions in their proper use will be given,
including dosage ranges and frequency of dosing. Most medications will
be prescribed on a p.r.n. (as needed) basis.
The best results are obtained when you come in for the first visit in
early withdrawal. We will give you the first dose of medicine, so that
you can experience the benefit while still in the office.
Follow-up visits will include appropriate examination and close review
of control of your withdrawal symptoms. Dosage changes will be made if
needed. You will also deal with brief psychosocial interventions and
support for you and family members, with a therapist at our office. A
review of post-detoxification rehab plans will also be discussed, when
appropriate. Any other concerns that arise can be discussed, as you feel
necessary.
No medications are included in the global fee. If you have health
insurance with a prescription plan, some of your medication costs could
be covered. The cost of medications for detoxification can range between
$250.00 and $400.00 over the course of detoxification. The cost will
depend on the severity of withdrawal symptoms and your individual
ability to tolerate the discomfort.
|
|
Symptoms
Treated: |
Medications will be prescribed on an individual basis for the following
symptoms: insomnia, irritability, abdominal cramps, diarrhea, sweating,
chills and goose bumps, muscle pain and joint pain. Medications can be
changed if medically necessary based on individual needs and symptoms.
We will not continue medications that are potentially addictive (e.g.
Valium or sleeping pills) beyond a reasonable detoxification and
stabilization period.
|
|
Behavior: |
Abusive attitudes toward our staff or other patients will not be
tolerated, either in person or on the telephone. If abusive behavior
continues after talking to your physician, you will be discharged.
